ADDITIONAL Bonus (while supplies last)
I’ve got a few free vouchers for five nights in one of several Mayan Palace resorts in Mexico. (Voucher fulfilled by BookVIP.com. You just pay taxes in advance, and resort fees upon checkout.)
If you’re seeing this message, I still have vouchers left, and I’ll include one in addition to the 50% discount. I’ll remove this offer when I run out of vouchers.
Discount code “LScancun” expires when the timer below expires.

Do you have a money back guarantee?
Yes. In fact, it’s a 1 year DOUBLE your money back guarantee. Take a full year to see if you can find better prices than what I send you on a daily basis. If you find a trip on your own that is at least 10% less expensive than a trip I share with you to that same destination, book it and send me a receipt. I’ll refund DOUBLE what you paid in JGOOT subscription fees. (This offer excludes non-rev standby fares, and fares using points.)
Do you guarantee the prices in your alerts?
I’m not a travel agent, and these are not my trips. I just send you alerts of deals I feel represent a good value, and offer tools for you to research them.
Due to the fact that they are almost all mistake fares with limited seats, the only guarantee is that those fares WILL sell out. That’s why I continue to look for new ones on a daily basis.
What’s the catch with the vacation voucher?
BookVIP.com has partnered with a line of resorts in Mexico who would rather have visitors staying with them for free and buying their food, drinks & souvenirs than have the rooms go empty.
They gave me several of those vouchers to give to my readers in hopes that they will get even more video testimonials than the thousands they already have.
Here is some of the “fine print” (as well as my own commentary):
- NO timeshare presentation is required.
- Although they reserve the right to substitute a resort of similar value, they are currently good for various “Mayan Palace” resorts in Mexico. (I recommend researching Mayan Palace Resorts on TripAdvisor to see if that is a fit for you)
- They “officially” require at least 30 days notice (but they’ve been known to allow as little as 7 days)
- Voucher is for room only. Taxes of $19.20 per day are to be paid up front, and a resort fee of $10 to $20 per day is paid upon checkout, and you are responsible for your own airfare, food and drinks.
- It’s good for two adults and 2 children under 12. (Small fee applies for additional guests older than 12).
- They claim it’s a 5-star resort and to be worth $300 per night. I think a 4-star is a more adequate rating, and if you look up nightly rates online, it’s more like $200 per night (excluding taxes & resort fees). True value is still about $1000.
- Although no timeshares are required, you can upgrade to nicer all-inclusive locations if you choose to attend a timeshare presentation. (That’s where they get you and I DO NOT advise timeshares in any way shape or form. I definitely think it can be worth-while taking them up on free lodging offers though. 😉
I do not fulfill these vouchers, and have no other advice than to say the same thing I say with any hotel you look into: Research it on TripAdvisor.com. No other site has more unbiased reviews than them, and you will get far better intel than the experience you’ll have with the call-center where they barely speak english. If you research BookVIP.com, be sure to only pay attention to reviews from people who have actually gone on their trips. “Too good to be true” reviews from armchair quarterbacks who haven’t actually gone on the trips aren’t accurate reviews.
