I typically share 3 types of deals that I find:

  • Random Quick Trips (RQTs): Not all of you can take advantage of this category because travel is almost always on at least one or two weekdays. However, if you can take a vacation day or two, these are the most ridiculous deals I find. (I’ve separated these into a separate category so if you can’t take one or two weekdays off, you don’t even have to tease yourself by looking at them.)
  • Vacations: These might be anywhere from 1 week to 9 months in advance, and are typically 5 to 21 days in length, but by bundling cheap flights with hotel packages, I’ve found trips to China for as little as $41 per person per day. I quite often find hotels that cost $10 more than booking the flight by itself.
  • Weekend getaways: These are similar to the Random Quick Trips, but are specifically Friday to Sunday trips for those of you who are limited to weekend travel.  They’ll usually be a little more expensive than the RQTs, but they can still be fun & cheap!

Feel free to click any of the above links to check out my latest finds for that category, or just look at them all at once – as a cornucopia of travel-inspiring bliss.
